JUSTIN LEWIS
2003-2004
Over the last three years, Lewis has compiled 1,405 points, making him Hopedale's all-time leading scorer. This is his second year as a Daily News All-Star, and his third as an All-Dual Valley Conference selection. Lewis led the league with 20.8 points per game this winter and Hopedale finished 20-4 and won the Clark Tournament. He also plays for the AAU Mass. Hysteria and enjoys weight lifting, running and playing golf off the court. Lewis hasn't picked a college yet, but hopes to play basketball and major in sports management.

JUSTIN LEWIS
2002-2003
Hopedale enjoyed a historic season this winter with a 20-1 regular-season campaign and a run to the Division 3 Central final, and this junior was a major reason for the Blue Raiders' success. Lewis averaged 21 points and over seven rebounds a game while earning Dual Valley Conference All-Star honors for the second straight year. In two seasons, he has piled up 916 points and should easily surpass the 1,000-point plateau early next year. Outside of school, Lewis has competed in AAU basketball for six years and also enjoys weightlifting and golf. He is undecided on his college plans.

KEVIN NEE
2003-2004
Saying this senior forward provided a strong presence on the court for Hopedale doesn't begin to describe his impact. Nee earned Dual Valley Conference All-Star and MVP honors as he led the Blue Raiders to the league title and a trip to the Div. 3 Central final while averaging 16 points and eight rebounds a game. Nee was named to the State Best 80 team and was a second-team Academic All-State selection. Off the court, Nee's strength is on even greater display, as he won the Teen Strongman Nationals to earn the title "Strongest Teen in the USA" and was profiled in Sports Illustrated and Boston Magazine. He will attend Northeastern University, where he intends to study criminal justice.

COLE SPEAR
2005-2006
The senior forward had a tough job coming up with an encore to his all-star junior campaign, but Spear didn't disappoint. He averaged 18.6 points and proved once again to be one of the toughest matchups in the Dual Valley conference, as the 6-foot-6 big man can punish opponents inside with his size or outside with his touch, where the former Daily News 3-Point Shootout champ was equally dangerous. The three-year varsity veteran earned his second straight league and Daily News All-Star nods, and was also selected to the Best 80 squad and named the Blue Raiders' team MVP. He is also an all-star golfer and serves as the president of the Massachusetts Association of Student Councils.

COLE SPEAR
2004-2005
At 6-foot-6, this junior was always a threat to use his size as a mismatch inside, but don't dare leave him alone on the perimeter. He proved his proficiency from long range by winning the Daily News 3-Point Shootout, and he left no doubts about his shooting abilities when he led the Dual Valley Conference in scoring with 19.1 points a game. The DVC All-Star and league free-throw shooting champ scored 30-plus points in four of his final five games, and the talented guard should be a force again next year. Spear also plays AAU hoop for the Mass Hysteria and is president of the Massachusetts Association of Student Councils.
