The newest member of the Blue Raider Coaching Staff, Evren was born and raised in Hopedale. As a student at the high school, he was a member of the DVC Championship Golf, Soccer and Basketball Teams. Evren always brought a can-do spirit to the game; this was quite obvious when he drove the lane in a pivotal game against North Brookfield, bringing the fans to their feet when he laid the ball up and in. The 1999-2000 basketball season was on a roll then, and was capped off by a trip to the State Finals in Worcester. He graduated from HHS in the class of 2000; his accomplishments as a student included Class President and National Honor Society along with receiving the following awards: District E. Athletic Directors' Association Award, Presidential Academic Fitness Award, Outstanding Senior Musician: Instrumental, Principal's Leadership Award, Tomorrow's Teachers' Award Program and the Robert F. Pagnini Memorial Scholarship. A Dean's List student while at UMass Amherst, he was a member of the Marching Band and graduated in 2004.

Evren is currently a science teacher at Hopkinton High School; he coached soccer there this Fall and is forming a school marching band. Additionally, Evren has been a coach at the Positive Players Basketball Camp co-founded the "Enjoy Life CLub" and ran in the 2006 Boston Marathon.
