TOM D'URSO
Tom D'Urso grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Parsippany Hills High School. He was a member of his school's State Champion Cross Country team - they won TWICE, once in 1973 and again in 1975. He went on to college at Glassboro State College (now Rowan University) where he received his undergraduate degree in Elementary Education. He continued his athletic career at Glassboro - he was a member of the two-time National Championship Ulitmate Frisbee Team. He then obtained his Master's in Education at Lesley College in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Coach D'Urso is married to the former Deirdre Miner and is the father of two boys - Tyler and James. They reside in Hopedale, Massachusetts.

Tom has been a fifth grade teacher in the Hopedale school system for since 1989; prior to that he taught in Grafton, Massachusetts for two years and in New Jersey for four years. His coaching experience is long and varied: two years as the JV basketball coach in Grafton, ten years as the Hopedale High Cross Country coach where he had the honor of coaching State Champion Paul Abbruzzese, and began his basketball coaching career for the Blue Raiders in 1989. He has also been a member of Coach Cordani's Positive Players Basketball Camp.
