TONY CORDANI


Tony Cordani grew up in Norfolk, attended King Phillip High School and graduated from Bridgewater State College in 1989. Prior to coming to Hopedale in 1999, he was the varsity coach at Hopkinton High School (1998-1999) and at Tri-County in Franklin. He and his wife, the former Laura Drouin, reside in Douglas with their two children, Taryn and Dean. Tony ran in the November 2003 Philadelphia Marathon, placing 641 out of 5,352 runners and posting a time of 3:19:10.

Coach Cordani has directed and worked at basketball camps since 1993. He and Rick Martin, the former Whitinsville Christian Boy's Varsity Coach, are the co-directors of the Positive Players Basketball Camp. Tony has led the Blue Raiders to the following titles:

  • Coached the 1999 Hopkinton High School EMass Division IV Finalists
  • Metrowest Coach of the Year
  • Coached Tri-County's only 1,000-point scorer - Tim Grinham
